Spicy Buttermilk

Spicy buttermilk is a comforting combination of yogurt (curd), water, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chillis, salt and lemon juice. It is a perfect summer drink. I usually prepare this every Sunday when I prepare non-veg, for soothing the tummy after spicy treats :).

Spicy buttermilk

Ingredients

Curd (Yogurt): 3 cups

Water: 1 cup (add water as per your required consistency)

Salt: as per taste

Green Chillis: 2; finely chopped (adjust as per taste)

Ginger: 1″ piece; grated

Curry Leaves: 1 twig; finely chopped

Coriander Leaves: 1-2 sprigs; finely chopped

Lemon Juice: as per taste

Instructions

Beat curd without any lumps. Add the remaining ingredients and combine well. Chill for 30 minutes and serve.
